To quote the NSFFS objectives..... "the National Science Fiction and Fantasy Society has been established to provide a strong support network for the science fiction and fantasy community in Canada including authors, artists, researchers and related professionals and enthusiasts. The Society carries out activities to promote awareness, appreciation and growth of speculative fiction and other imaginative works in Canada." Unfortunately the NSFFS has been dissolved. The forces behind the NSFFS are now working hard to develop a new juried SF award called the Sunburst Award. Stay tuned for news.
