Dance Studio News fur memfurs and furriends

We've had many wonderfur dance classes going fur a whole year now, and what great results we've had! Our memfurs and dance students haff become the best dancers anywhere! We are so purroud of all of mew. We all really accomplished a lot in one year and had so much fun doing it, too. But of course we still haff classes fur beginners, and hope to teach more kitties to dance. It's the happiest thing kitties can do.

Any kitty can apply fur membership in the dance studio, it's easy! Just send us an email here to let us know, and we will enroll mew and send mew a memfurship card.

To see when our diffurnt dance classes and the Dance Nights are, just check our schedule here. Our memfurs only take classes if they want to, and can take as many as they'd like. They can use the studio fur practice whenefur they wish, and attend any dance nights, when they can bring a guest if they'd like to. Tell your furriends about the studio, they might like to join, too. We luff to get new memfurs.

Here it is! The Spotlight this time was on our Irish step dancing class, and it is a great bunch of beautifully costumed kitties dancing in wonderpurr, happy unison. Mew all became such good step dancers that we efen gave a show purrformance. Come and see your pictures right here or linked again at the end of the newsletter.

We haff now spotlighted all of our dance classes in the past year and had a great series of class pictures and dance night pictures. Did mew notice all this about "one year"? That's right, this month of November marks our one year anniversary at the Princess Dance Studio. So our Spotlight this time is somethin special. We are haffing a First Anniversary party here at the studio to celebrate all we haff done and learned. Watch fur your invitations to come soon, and plan on wearing any party clothes mew would like to.

Be sure to check out our Studio Shoppe fur any dancing outfits, shoes, dance bags, or anything else mew might need. If mew know something else we need in the shoppe, tell us and we can order it. This month we made new departments fur the diffurnt type of dance outfits we offered fur class pictures all year. Mew will find them all linked in the shoppe.

Now fur our regular dance article:

All Kitties, All Dancing
by Phelicity

In only one year, our dance studio memfurs haff become experts in so many kinds of dance, we can hardly belief it! It's like magic!

We started wif a ballet class of about 13 girls, and luckily, being kitties, dey was already graceful. But dat was about it. And only a few weeks later, those girls were doing the purrtiest pirouettes, the most elegant poses, and were the luffliest group of ballerinas mew efur saw! About all the sore toes and plops on the floor and knocking down the barres; well, nokitty saw any of that. We just saw the beautiful ballet.

Our ballroom dancing and Latin dance classes were furry popular from the start. Boys and girls do luff to dance in couples, and learning the dances was easy. We had the most purrfect and inspiring dancing couple as teachers, Mewsette and E.T.. In the offur classes, Ginger and me found it easy to teach wif the help of our talented student partners.

The Flamenco and Tango classes were specially good successes. In fact, the only Latin one that didn't quite work out was the Samba. Mew know, that's the one we danced in one long line going forward. And that studio had an outside door. It seems that sefurral times a student led a line of Samba dancers right out the door and they didn't come back till the next Tuesday. Meanwhile, the rest of us ate jelly donuts and kinda gave up the Samba. But we luff all the Latin dances!

When our Jazz classes got goin, we had the jazziest studio in the world! Kitties really take to jazz, we had the bestest time. Some students were extremely... uh, ..original ... and a few had .... uh, ... furry brief costumes *blush* ... and we did find out it was best to throw all the chairs out the door if we could get some boys to turn loose of dem, but oboy, did we get happy! We put on a show-stopping jazz dance purrformance! We was the best!

By the time we got around to pictures in the Tap class, we didn't haf a single amateur in dere! Those kitties really was in the groove. We had so much fun teaching tap dancing, and they was the best tap dancers mew efur saw! Yes, we did run out of ear plugs a time or two, but we was all such happy tappers we hardly noticed. (Oh yes, about dat cane. If the boy responsible fur bopping the teacher on the head wif it in happy exhileration wants to come get it, I might gif it back to him now.)

We all settled into country and line dancing like we was made fur it. It came sooo natural. We had the bestest time! The Country dance nights turned out to be our most popular by far. And how we do luff line dancin! (Yes, I know, I'm sorry. We'll put the numbers back up on the wall as soon as we find dem. Does whatefur kitty who dropped dem in the punch bowl still haf the 5-6-7-8 one? Is it dry yet?)

Our newest classes were in Irish step dancing, and it was really amazing how our students took to that and how fast dey learned. Mew see, when mew learn one kind of dancing, it morphs into other kinds of dancing. Efurry new dance gets easier and more natural, until all kinds of dancing feel like magic. because dey are.

We've had a wonderpurr time this year, hafn't we? Dancing kitties are happy kitties. And we can prove it!

Now mew can all practice your Irish dancing at home, too, wif da purrfect mewsic. Along wif the movie, we added dis great CD of Riverdance and Other Irish Mewsic, in the shoppe.
Happy dancing!

Note: We didn't review a new dance movie this time, since we are planning a Furst Anniversary party instead of spotlighting a type of dance next. But just in case mew would like a movies fix, we can (ahem) recommend Movie Star Dreams fur your entertainment.
