2005 Canada Trade Mission to China
January 19 - February 24, 2005
The 2005 Canada Trade Mission to China holds a very special meaning
towards Canadian’s bilateral relations with China. Celebrating the
thirty fifth anniversary of Canada-China diplomatic relations, it
was also the first time the Honorable Prime Minister Paul Martin
officially visited China. This mission therefore has been highly
regarded by both nations. Canadian Foundation Center for
International Education (CFCIE) is honored to be invited as one of
the trade mission members. From January 19 to 25, 2005, Prof. Samuel
Rong, Chairman and CEO of CFCIE joined the Canada Trade Mission Team
led by Hon. James Peterson, Canada’s Minister of International Trade
visiting Shanghai, Beijing and Hong Kong. Below are the highlights
