This thorough article, written by American lifting legend Tommy Kono, appeared in the February 1973 issue of Strength & Health magazine.

A brief but flattering and entertaining read that accompanied an excellent photo spread which appeared in the March 1973 edition of Strength & Health.

The April 14, 1975 issue of Sports Illustrated contained this article as its cover story. Not entirely flattering, the author seems taken aback that the strongman is a little short on humility...duh.

The Austrian Oak on the Russian Bear, this is Arnold Schwarzenegger's forward to the American edition of Ivanov's book.

Chapter thirteen from Ivanov's book. Be advised before you pay a collector any substantial sum for this book that it is a trite piece of fluff propaganda..."for the glory of Mother Russia" and all that. Very little substantive info on the man.
