The Fall of a Goddess

~ Introduction ~

The Fall of a Goddess was born with a sketch. Everything starts like that, some way or the other. I began writing drafts before opening this site, back then when the net was something new to me and my only attempts at reaching the StS fandom had been some fanarts for one of the first StS sites I had visited (which was Boadicea's). Then came Ortygia. I wanted a site to post the story, and because I was too lazy to send it to already existing sites, I opened this one. My own personal mental asylum ^_^. All in all, nearly five years have gone by since the first drafts of The Fall, and very little remains of them in the story as posted. From a playful approach to StS's fandom that was meant to last a few chapters, it turned into this behemoth of a story, a way to improve my writing skills and more than anything, a project that I take quite seriously and has grown almost as much as this site.

And even when that happened, when the story went into places I had never thought it would go to, when my writing skills changed with it and the idea of what I wanted to tell evolved with them and with my interests, The Fall's objectives remain the same. To tell a story about Fate, Life and Justice. About everything that makes us human, about everything that makes us monsters.

About everything that makes us perfect in our flaws.

This is, still, the story of those who failed.
