WAKKA

After Tidus falls off the Al Bhed boat, he meets Wakka. Wakka is the captain of a Blitz Ball team, the Besaid Arochs, and is also a guardian for Yuna. Wakka is very outgoing and tends to add "ya" after many of his sentences. (Ex: "You know what I'm saying, ya?") Wakka is a strong believer in the ways of Yevon, and dislikes breaking the rules. He also had a brother, Chappu, who fought to defeat Sin, and was killed by using a Machina weapon. Wakka dislikes Machina very much, and since the Al Bhed use Machina all the time, Wakka hates the Al Bhed, which causes a slight problem between him and Rikku.

LULU

Lulu is very wise, beautiful, and when you first meet her, cold. She is one of Yuna's guardians, and treats Yuna as a sister, helping her through everything. Lulu and Wakka are good friends, probably from the old relationship that Lulu and Chappu, Wakka's younger brother, before Chappu died. Lulu and Chappu had been engaged, but the unfortunite accident happened. Lulu has been on several pilgramidges, so she always knows what is happening. At first she is cold twords Tidus, but then warms up to him, and she might like him slightly, only because he was very much like Chappu.

KIMAHRI

Kimahri is a Ronzo, and doesn't speak much, so no one knows much about him. Kimahri is one of Yuna's guardians, and probably one of her most faithful ones. He met Yuna when she was seven, instructed by Auron to protect her, and they became good friends. In Kimahri's old tribe, he was beaten in battle, and they broke his horn. Later in the story, Kimahri defeats the leader of the tribe, and his tribe respects him much more.

AURON

Auron used to be a guardian for Yuna's father, Braska, but after the final Summoning, Jecht, Tidus's father, asked him to look after Tidus. Auron was the one who brought Tidus to Spira, but then disappeared, re-appearing later in the story, and becoming one of Yuna's guardians. Auron keeps to himself, and is similar to Lulu, because he knows much. In the end of the story, you find out that Auron died, he was killed by Yunalesca, but was never sent to the farplane. Yuna sends him in the end, and Auron goes to the far plane, meeting up with Jecht and Tidus.

RIKKU

Rikku is a very out going and happy girl, who is also an Al Bhed. In the beginning, she saves Tidus but then has him work on their ship, but he gets knocked off when Sin attacks the ship. Later on, Tidus met up with Rikku again, and she became one of Yuna's guardians. Rikku and Yuna are actually cousins, because Rikku's father, Cid, was Yuna's mother's brother. Rikku also has a little crush on Tidus, but it isn't very strong, so Tidus doesn't notice it. In the end, Rikku survives, but is desperatly sad because of the disappearence of Tidus.

SEYMORE

Seymore is one of the main evil characters in the story, who is a maester, and is half Guado, half human. He likes Yuna sightly, but mostly wants her so he can use her to turn into Sin. Seymore killed his father, and, in basic terms, has a messed-up life. Yuna tried to help him, by marrying him, but the group stopped the wedding before it happened. The group (Tidus, Yuna, Wakka, Lulu, Auron, Kimahri, and Rikku) also killed Seymore, but he was never sent to the farplane, so he keeps attacking them. In the end he is sent...

JECHT

Jecht is Tidus's father, who was sent to Spira from Zanarkand, and became Braska's (Yuna's father) guardian, along with Auron. At first, it seems as if he truely hates Tidus, but he really doesn't. He sent Auron to look after Tidus, and even though he makes fun of Tidus, Jecht loves him very much. During the middle of the story (SPOILER) Tidus found out that Jecht was actually Sin, and was turned into Sin when Braska summoned the final aeon. In the end, Tidus has to kill "Sin" or Braska, but we find out Tidus did really love Jecht. Jecht was also a very good Blitz-Ball player, just like Tidus.

BRASKA

Braska was Yuna's father, and a summoner also. He had two guardians, Sir Jecht and Sir Auron. We don't find out much about Braska, except that he defeated Sin and brought a calm to the land, but Sin came back. Yuna wanted to become a summoner to follow in her father's footsteps. (Along with other reasons also)

SIN

Sin is pretty much the main "Bad-guy" of the game. Sin was supposivly created to punish Spira of using all the Mechina. It destroys towns, and has, supposivly, a strong toxin that makes you confused if you get near it. The summoners jobs are to defeat Sin, but he always comes back after 10 years. Sin was actually started by Yu Yevon, a very powerful (Yet weak at the same time) force. During the game, Jecht is Sin.

YU YEVON

During the very end you find out that Yu Yevon created Sin, and every time a summoner summons the final aeon, Yu Yevon goes into the aeon, and becomes Sin. That is why Sin always comes back. The group found this out and decided to kill Yu Yevon, so Sin could never come back. The funny thing in the end is, Yu Yevon is supposed to be very strong, but when you fight him, he is an easy kill. (At least in my, and many others, opionions.

THE FAYTH

The fayth are high beings that pretty much know everything. Many of the Fayth used to live in the time when (Spira's) Zanarkand was not demolished. In order to not lose this memory, the Fayth started to dream up a new Zanarkand, creating many people, one of them being Tidus. In the end, the Fayth are tired of dreaming, and they are why Tidus disappeared. But, they are the reason Tidus was there in the first place also
