Yuna is very respectful, caring, and strong-willed woman. Ever since her father, Braska, became a summoner, Yuna has always wanted to be one. A summoners job is to bring peace to the land of Spira by defeating Sin. They defeat sin by summoning Aeons, and when they summon the fnial aeon, they will, unfortuitly, die.

Yuna was just starting her pilgrimage when she met Tidus, a young man claiming to be from Zanarkand, which was a city in ruins. They later figure out that he was transported from his own Zanarkand. Tidus becomes one of Yuna's guardians, and they become good friends.

A guardian is a warrior who protects the summoner. At first, Yuna had three main guardians, Lulu, Wakka, and Kimahri. Tidus becomes her next guardian, then Auron, or Sir Auron to Yuna, and then Rikku becomes a guardian also. Rikku is actually Yuna's cousin also, and is Al Bhed, so Yuna is also have Al Bhed.

There is one man that Yuna loves deeply, who at first was her friend, Tidus. In my opion, the reason she fell in love with him is because he always cheered her up when she was sad, protected her, and was truely caring towards her.
