The Atom
Summary
The seventies were an age of team play for the World's Smallest Hero. The Atom participated as a member of the JLofA in most of their cases and even managed to get married to Jean Loring (finally). Although he had no books of his own, he made several guest appearances in Action, The Brave and the Bold, and Detective Comics, starring in various reprint stories, a few original solo shots, and some team-ups. The mid-seventies were a time for the resurgence of comic book popularity, and the industry obliged by making JLofA a monthly title, as well as introducing several new titles around this time. The Atom did not make a comeback in this decade, waiting until the eighties to test the waters.
