Humans:
Obviously everyone knows what a human is. Any nationality is acceptable. For women please try to keep heights between 4'9 and 5'10. For men please try to keep heights between 5'6 and 6'8. -Some- exceptions can be made if it is explained in the character sheet.
Jak'tar:
Jak`tar are a race of fighters, born and bred to be strong and brutal. They can, on average, lift up to seven hundred pounds without strain. Although they are not quick they are often feared for their ability to take a lot of damage and keep fighting before getting anywhere near tired. They prefer to fight hand to hand using only rudimentary weapons when available such as sharpened spears and double blade axes that they are known for throwing. They also have very keen eyesight in the darkness and some say they see better at night than during the day. Their eyes are a cold blue or stark white in hue and glow even in the light.
The height of the average female is between 7'2 and 9'6. The height for the average male is between 7'11 and 10'3. -Some- exceptions can be made if it is explained in the character sheet. The average Jak`tar lives to be one hundred and ten years old. Their clothing is very simplistic and generally consist of little more than a cloth that drapes over the chest and genitals for women or waist and genitals for men. Please note that the Jak`tar do not look like humans, picture below.
Upon their upper arms they all have tattoos based upon their coming of age battle where they are pitted against their people's best known warrior to see how many rounds they last. The more rounds they last the better the fighter they are known as and the tattoo mark upon their arm given to signify that. One line per round they are able to withstand before defeat.
If they win the battle they are then known as their people's best and a very large celebration that lasts one month is held where food and dancing take place nightly not to mention satisfying their sexual appetites with slaves. The Jak`tar are the only race so far known to human kind that still practice in slavery and think absolutely nothing wrong about it. It is a way of life. They are responsible for the small jobs not worthy of a warrior such as cooking, cleaning, washing (including their Mistress/Master) and other such menial tasks.
The rules and restrictions put upon their slaves are great and should not be taken lightly. The Jak`tar have been known to beat or break their slaves if they talk out of turn or disobey an order. Those that are chosen for slavery are those that are weak and could not last even one round with their head warrior. Very occasionally a slave will be taken in from another race but generally these are people that were born from this other race to be traded to the Jak`tar for tools or other useful items.
Telaxian:
The Telaxians are a calm race of people that pride themselves on peace and harmony with not only themselves but the world around them. They are not an overly strong race but they are highly intelligent so much so that they make human knowledge of science and technology seem like a child exploring their blocks for the first time. They usually dress in long robes from neck to feet in darker colors such as black, gray, olive green, cobalt, crimson etc.
The height of the average female is between 5'8 and 6'8. The height for the average male is between 6'5 and 7'5. -Some- exceptions can be made if it is explained in the character sheet. The average Telaxian lives to be two hundred and seventy-five years old. They come from a planet called Telaxia, the only planet thus far that the human race as found habitable and have visited. They are used to busy cities and find they are at peace there much more so than anywhere else.
Keeping to themselves, most are scientists but there have been a rare few that have taken to exploration. All Telaxians are empaths, meaning that they can sense another beings emotions and have such a control over this ability that they can choose to tone it out and are in fact taught when they are very young how to do just that. Not only can they read emotions but they have also shown the ability to read surface thoughts making them excellent traders as they can not be lied to.
All Telaxians within the first five years of their birth are implanted with various forms of technology within their body to enhance themselves. These enhancements are so varied that to list them all would be nearly impossible. (OOC Note: You can choose two enhancements only. The picture below shows a telaxian with form stretching enhancement i.e. the fingers.) The heads are naturally coned as well as their eyes are naturally white void of any pupils or iris.
Usheri:
The Usheri are a strange race of fliers that rarely come out to the world around them from their forest homes. All documents on them say that as far back as they have been known they avoid civilization at any cost. Due to their need to still go out and hunt they have developed a way to camoflage their bodies to look like their surroundings. Often times they are seen to have what looks like wooden or leaf like skin so that when they fold in their wings and not move they blend into the environment.
They are excellent at stealth and they are very quick. It is said that there are few races that can beat them in their dexterity. There are little difference between the men and women in this race as both are considered equal in their duties unless the female is pregnant in which case they are expected to remain in their villages set within the high tree tops. At such time that the child/ren are born they are given over to a 'mother' who tends to them so that the female might return to her duties.
In the minds of the Usheri there is no such thing as marriage or bonding and in fact the female only goes into 'heat' once a year at which time she either needs to conceive or wait for the next year with whichever male she chooses. Sometimes the males are even known to fight for the right to breed with a particular female. Due to their long life spans Usheri females are known to have as many as twenty or thirty children but due to their harsh jungle environment it is rare that they make it into adulthood from preditors and poisonous floral life.

The average Usheri lives to be six hundred years old. They are generally seen with forest color eyes of brown, green, blue or even the more vibrant red, yellow and orange. The Nis are a well known creature on Telaxia for being their domesticated version of a dog. As with the dogs humans know Nis can be raised for anything from hunting to fighting to a loving pet.
