EARTHQUEST ELITE FAT PROGRAM GRADUATES

The following individuals have graduated from the EARTHQUEST FAT Program with distinction, honour and committment. They represent the best of all participants of the FAT Program, but not all the individuals who have participated or been hired. They earned their titles through hard work, by displaying enthusiasm, the "Golden Rule", strong leadership/management skills, and compassion toward their fellow team mates and EARTHQUEST staff.

Nata Mateev, London, Ontario, CANADA.
Graduated from the FAT Program in Canada in June, 2007. Hired as a SAR intern in July, 2007. Promoted to Senior SAR Biologist in August, 2007 and then Teaching Assistant (TA) in April, 2008. In July, 2008 hired as Project Manager.

Erin Mallon, Burlington, Ontario, CANADA.
Graduated from the FAT Program in Canada in June, 2007. Hired as a Biological Inventory Intern for the EARTHQUEST (Canada) Bruce Trail Project in June, 2007. Hired as SAR intern in January, 2008. Promoted to Senior SAR Biologist and served with distinction until January, 2009.

Diane Bialek, Woodstock, Ontario, CANADA.
Graduated from the FAT Program in Canada in May, 2006. Hired as an FA for the EARTHQUEST Biological Field Schoool in May, 2006. Served with distinction until July, 2006.

Andrea Raithby, London, Ontario, CANADA.
Graduated from the FAT Program in Canada in July, 2004. Served with distinction until August, 2004.

Sheila Chouinard, Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, CANADA.
Graduated from the FAT Program in Canada in August, 2002. Hired as an FA for the Cavendish Trail Project in August, 2002. Served with distinction until May, 2003 and promoted to Honourary Research Assistant (RA) in May, 2003.

Graduated from the FAT Program in Canada in August, 2002. Hired as an FA for the Cavendish Trail Project in August, 2002 and served with distinction until December, 2002.

Jennifer Hayman, Hamilton, Ontario, CANADA.
Graduated from the FAT Program in Canada in August, 2002. Hired as an FA for the Cavendish Trail Project in August, 2002 and served with distinction until March, 2003.

Sean Donovan, Chiba, JAPAN.
Graduated from the FAT Program in Nepal through the Level 2 FASST Course with distinction in August, 2002. Participated in Peru river boat expedition to the interior of the Peruvian Amazon in April, 1999 and the Nepal Medicinal Plant expedition in August, 2001.

Graduated from the FAT Program in Canada in July, 2001. Hired as an FA for the Bruce Trail Project in July, 2001.
