Enjoy the fun of exploring new experiences, skills and places with good friends in the Trefoil Guild. The Trefoil Guild is a non-uniformed part of the Guide movement which brings together people with an interest in Guiding for fun and friendship. Its aims are to keep alive among its members the spirit of the Guide and Scout promises and laws; to carry that spirit into the communities in which we live and work, and to give practical, moral and financial support to Guiding and Scouting. Membership is open to anyone over the age of 18 who has made the Guide or Scout Promise, or who makes the Guide Promise. Affiliated membership is open to those who agree with the aims of the Movement but are unable to make the Promise. Those who hold a Guide or Scout Association Warrant or Appointment card may become Associate Members. | |

"It keeps me active, it keeps me young, it keeps me looking wide, It gives me friendship and things to do, and cheers, I'm still a Guide!" (Jane Garside, former Chief Commissioner and now an active member of the Trefoil Guild) "It's an opportunity to give back some of the enthusiasm and love of Guiding to the present generation of young people whilst continuing to enjoy fun and friendship for myself" (Jill Hancock, former chairman of the Trefoil Guild.) |
