2/3/02 I stopped writing everything down because I am doing so good with my meal plans and Insulin.  My blood sugars have been excellent!   I will continue to monitor each and if I backslide at all I will immediately start writing everything down again.

snack - several bites chicken salad - 4 oz OJ  (am paranoid about my BS getting low again!

FBS 129 25 U N 7pm 170 *can't remember what time I ate (will have to start carrying paper and pencil with me, the brain fog is terrible) , this seems too high for me so I will check again in an hour without eating 8:15p 163 5 U Reg  10:30 25 U N... Total 55u

Breakfast - Hamburger Stuff

Lunch - 4 oz OJ slice American Cheese

**3 pm Snack - pepperoni and moz cheese - waited too long to eat very symptomatic, sweaty, fast talking, brain fog didn't think to check my blood sugar, but felt much better after eating

Dinner - salad with lettuce, cheese, egg, tuna and 1 tbsp dressing

Bed Time Snack - same 

FBS 167 20 U N - 5 U Reg  1pm  150 5 U R 2:20 115) ** (should not have taken 5 U R cause was 1 hour after I had eaten the cheese and OJ)  I think that is why my BS dropped so low  HS BS not done 25U N  Total 45 U N 5 U R

Snack - Pudding 2 Cups (yikes was feeling overwhelmed and needed some comfort food)  was sugar free that was made with 1 cup of milk and 1 cup of half and half - so low in carbs but high in calories.

Breakfast 4oz OJ - Peanut Butter 1 tbsp

Dinner - Chicken Salad - few onions mayonaise, sour cream 

Supper - 1 egg and 1 slice of cheese

late night - Hamburg special made with spices; cinnamon, paprika, chili powder, Onions, mushrooms, garlic, sour cream and mozzarella cheese delicious... :)

FBS - 142 N 16 U ( very cautious because of yesterday!)  BS 4:40p 165 5 U Reg 9pm 121 N 16u  Total 41 U

Supper - chicken breast cooked in celery soup (didn't eat the whole thing)

Insulin FBS  186 N 20U 4 units Reg  BS 11:0am  58 one glass of OJ with 3 tsp of Brown sugar!   BS 11:20 41 a little more OJ and Brown Sugar when It came Up I ate 2 hotdogs and had lettuce & very small amt of onions with 2 tsp of Dressing BS 2:22p 128  BS 8p - 182 20U N  Total 44u

1/21/02 - Did really poor today, I used the excuse that I am doing a fruit juice fast.  Arrrggghhhh when will I ever quit lying to myself.

Breakfast = 1 bowl of cheerios with 4 tsp of sugar and 1/2 glass of milk

Snack = 8 oz of fresh squeezed orange juice

snack = 8 oz of fresh squeezed orange juice

supper and late night snack.  (divided it into 2 parts)

4 hard boiled eggs

2 pieces of American Cheese

2 tbsp of manyonaise.

Insulin 25 units of 70/30 and 5 units of Regular   Fasting 182

Insulin 20 units of 70/30 and 2 units of Regular     4p BS 132  Total 52 units.

I know that as I decrease my carbs, I will decrease my insulin usage I hope to get off of it if at all possible.
