BS ARCHITECTURE The architecture education is primarily concerned with providing the students the basic knowledge, skills and competence in the arts and science of architecture and the development of a distinctive Filipino architecture. Possible Jobs/Career: Draftsman, Architect, Urban Planner. ELECTRICAL ENG' The curriculum is designed to provide the students solid foundation in science, mathematics and engineering and prepare the student for an active role in the electrical engineering field manufacturing, operation and management of electrical systems. MECHANICAL ENGINEERING This course aims to provide students a balanced education in the social sciences, humanities and mechanical engineering. It is designed to give the students the basic foundations needed of a mechanical engineer in the areas of design, planning, management, installation and supervision of mechanical works and systems and other areas where his expertise is needed. Possible Jobs/Career: Design Engineers Maintenance Engineers, Plant engineers, Safety Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Sales Engineers, Process Engineers, Refrigeration Engineers, Airconditioning Engineers. |
GEOTHERMAL ENG' This is a 230-unit engineering on geothermal exploration, exploitation, and utilization of geothermal energy. It incorporates the minimum requirements of the TPEAME and the CHED. |
CHEMICAL ENGINEERING This is a 218-unit course in chemical engineering that provides the students a solid foundation of chemistry, physics, mathematics and the engineering sciences and create a rich environment for teaching, learning the fundamentals of material and energy balance, momentum, heat transfer, reaction kinetics, process instrumentation and control, process equipment and plant design, materials, biochemical and environmental engineering, industrial management which is the basis for the design and production of new products or processes and the operation of industrial plants. |
The course aims to: 1.) develop a highly qualified and competent professional who shall take the lead in the maintenance, control, and development of the chemical industries of the region in particular, and of the country as a whole; 2.) propel the region’s development and industrialization for the better quality of life through these professionals who shall be engaged in the wise utilization of raw materials into useful products; and, 3.) develop socially responsible professionals who shall promote conservation and presentation of environment and the keeping of ethical aspects of the profession with respect to the economic and industrial development of the country and to be of help in the reduction of the cost of education of these professionals who want to pursue a BS Chemical Engineering course in Metro Manila. |
Possible Jobs/Career: Consulting, manufacturing, production, instrumentation and process control, quality assurance, entrepreneurship, distribution, research and development, education, management, marketing and sales, warehousing and inventory control, plant design. They may find employment along the following areas and companies: 1.) Power Generation pollution control, environmental impact analysis, process control (PGI, NPC, PNOC) 2.) Process Control Engineering ( Induplex, Isarog Pulp and Paper Co.) 3.) Miscellaneous Coco-oil Processing ( Plant Engineers) 4.) Chemicals and related industries (Plant Engineers ) 5.) Government Agencies ( Test Engineers, Pollution Control Engineers). |
