GEP to become a regular BU Campus

To formally adopt BU-Gubat Extension Program
(GEP) as a regular campus of Bicol University, a
resolution in consonance to this has been raised
requesting the senate to approve House Bill No.
6315.

Civil Engineering (CE) board examination held
last Novenber 20-21.

SLICING THE UNIVERSITY PORK:
A Report on the Normative Funding Scheme of
the National Government

In a joint circular released by the Department
of Budget and Management (DBM) and the
Commission on Higher Education (CHED) last
August 3, all SUCs, including the Bicol University,
are directed to adopt the new normative funding
(NF) guidelines for all allocation of its funds.

Financial Difficulties Cause Plunge in Enrolment

Enrolment in Bicol University decreased again
according to the studies conducted by the Office
of the University Registrar.
The university registrar noted that the plunge
is due to financial difficulties of the students who
failed to enrol this semester.
