This program is designed for students interested in understanding political problems and issues, the nature of the political process as well as the political and legal basis of political stuctures and process at local, national and international levels.

Possible Jobs/Career: Graduate work in political science, Law, positions in public and private sector.

BAPSS

This is a four-year course offered on a trimester basis aimed to produce competent law and peace enforcers. The curriculum has liberal arts orientation aimed at the social, political, economics and philosophical dimensions of peace security. It tackles domestic and national concerns as well as international aspects of peace and security. This curriculum is accredited by the United Nations Commission on Disarmament Education.

Possible Jobs/Career: Law Enforcers, Staff or Personnnel of any law enforcement agency, an excellent preparation for future law and peace studies.

AB SOCIOLOGY

This programs aims to provide the students with the awareness and knowledge of social phenomena and the dynamics of social stuctures and processes. It also equips the student with the ability to apply these in the analysis and evaluation of one’s own tradition, values and communities.

Possible Jobs/Career: Community Organizer, Teacher, Personnel Worker, Researcher, Urban Planner, Graduate course in Sociology and related fields in politics or government.

BS SOCIAL WORK

This program develops knowledge, attitudes and skills and prepares the student for beginning level professional practice as a social work generalist. Graduates of this course automatically meet the PRC requirements to take the Board Examination for licensing as a social worker.

Possible Jobs/Career: General Practitioner, Social Worker, Researcher.
