Throughout the history of the human being there have been a lot of mistakes perpetrated intentionally or unintentionally by people of different races.
The Kurds unlike all other races have continued adopting their mistakes as sacred dogmas, which among them was the Islam.
Dear brothers and sisters, the Islam has always been our main enemy and a hindrance stands in the way of our evolve unlike Yezidi and Zoroastrianism that have always united and preserved the Kurdish identity of its followers .The Islam has always been the apparatus of our enemy to dividing and impeding us to fulfill our well-being, where since the arrival of Islam to Kurdistan half and millennium ago the Arabs have always suppressed our identity, language, and traditions in the name of preserving the values of Islam and enforcing the testament of Muhammad .
And we are the Kurds for known and unknown reasons have abandoned our religion and panted behind Islam.
Would you please tell me what have we gotten from Islam till now??.
I am going to tell you what we have gotten:
1-the division of Kurdish society.
2-the lateness of Kurds from all other societies.
3-the massacres that were committed against our Yezidi brothers on the hands of their (Muslim Kurdish brothers).
Even in our contemporary history Islam has been the principal cause of losing our independence and accession into the modern world, and the attitude of Europeans is a vivid example, when they stood against our will of freedom in Paris peace conference and Lausanne at the end of world war I , I guess they were right because we fought them and killed them ,and we were inadequate allies for their future plans because we were staunch supporters of the Islam and the Arabs, and had never thought of our own interests, they gave the Turks under the leadership of Mustafa kamal Attaturk, what we were supposed to have and so they did with the Armenians, besides the Europeans had never forgotten the attitude of our GREAT MUSLIM LEADER SALADIN of expelling them from Jerusalem in the year of 1187 AD.
The Kurds as our regional proverb says (Saidê Sûda,ma ji herdo Ida), Said lost both the feasts, I mean that when they turned their face to their coreligionists Arab brothers as they do today and insisting on the integrity of Iraq.
But as the proverb says (who isn't good for his nation can't be good for others).
On the hands of Arabs, the Kurds have suffered an extreme discrimination, and Lebanon has been a vivid example, where when the Kurds first reached along with Armenian escaping from the massacres of Ottoman and young Turkish republic to this country, the Marounits a Christian dominant group refused to give the Kurds the citizenship because they were Muslims and that could endanger the political balance in the country in favor of Muslims.
Look at the situation the Armenians are in today versus the Kurds ,the Armenians are politicians ,businessmen, and artists; whereas the kurds are shoes-cleaners, day-workers etc.
Even these days in Syria the Kurds are suffering racist segregation, where they are deprived from their instinct right ,learning Kurdish language, where they are unlike the Armenians, Assyrians, and even Turkmens not allowed to writing their shops' signs in Kurdish ; whereas all other minorities have these concessions, even the Syrian official TV has recently began broadcasting some Armenian and Assyrian parts in their languages. Everybody has the right of doing everything but the kurds, do you know why ?,because everybody has a backer in the west or in their own countries; but who is going to support the Kurds ?,they are Muslims ,they are homeless people, the sides that are supposed to help them are endorsing their oppressors actions. For example a kingdom like Saudi Arabia that always claims supporting the Muslim people, has supported all outrageous practices of Arabization and gassing our people; while it pays thousands of US dollars to help fundamentalist
And terrorist organizations around the world.
The other main mistake has been the losing of our beautiful Kurdish language on the expense of Arabic and Turkish.
Even this matter is closely related to Islam, mind you, unlike the Arabs when the Europeans reached the countries of irreligious people, they invented alphabet for each language they faced in order to teach these people Christianity in their own language; on the contrary the Arabs have fought all other languages, claiming that the only language to reach god's mercy is Arabic and nobody would enter paradise without being (ARAB MUSLIM) and they still say the Jews are racialists!!. And we are the Kurds have been generous where we renounced our language and have adopted the Arabic.
Imagine is there any better way to kill our language than when you hear an Arabic cleric addresses in Arabic or Turkish in large Kurdish cities, towns, and villages, where all our Kurdish elders know Arabic very well ,but shamefully cannot right a letter in Kurdish.
In this framework ,the former Turkish prime minister Masoud Yilmasz once said "do not use weapons to kill Kurdish identity; instead build a mosque in every kurdish village".
Dear brothers and sisters, mull deeply over your attitude and find where is the interest of your identity, your civilization.
God bless our Kurdish identity, our nation, damn on the enemies of our nation inside and out side Kurdistan.
