The Miracles of Generosity

Wow! An old barren woman giving birth to a son of her dreams! It happened when everything seemed impossible because she and her husband were already very old. This miracle was made possible by her generosity to the prophet. It was a fulfilment of Matthew 10:41-42, which says: " ‘Anyone who receives a prophet because he is a prophet will receive a prophet’s reward, and anyone who receives a righteous man because he is a righteous man will receive a righteous man's reward. And if anyone gives a cup of cold water to one of these little ones because he is my disciple, I tell you the truth, he will certainly not lose his reward.’ "

A miracle is a reward from God to them who believe and earnestly seek Him through faith with good works (Hebrews 11:5). The Bible says: "God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should change His mind. Does He speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?" (Numbers 23:19). In other words, what the Lord promised, He will surely fulfill, if you do what pleases Him.

The Bible says that every good work or generosity shown by every man has its corresponding reward in due time (Galatians 6:9) when our giving is done out of love for God and neighbor, done voluntarily and joyfully "...for God loves a cheerful giver" (2 Corinthians 9:7).

Faith, Love, and Unity

Everytime somebody asks me what makes El Shaddai DWXI-PPFI different from other religious groups, my ready answer is, "Faith, love, and unity among brothers and sisters." It is a rebirth, or should I say, a revival, if not the continuation of the work of the Lord Jesus Christ in the lives of the early Christians as recorded in Acts 2:42-47, which says: "They devoted themselves to the Apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the Apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to [or shared with] anyone as he had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved."

Like the early Christians, the El Shaddai DWXI-PPFI members and followers are practicing generosity. Rich and poor alike are giving their tithes and miracle-seed-of-faith-offerings voluntarily and joyfully, without being forced to do of El Shaddai DWXI-PPFI in Tokyo, Japan. A daughter of one of our prayer-partners from San Pablo City, Philippines, had been detained in Japan by a Yakuza member. She was able to escape, but she lost all her money. She had no one to turn to, so she called up her mother in San Pablo City. Her mother called up Sis. Amelita Iwase for help. Though the daughter was two hours drive away, and neither Amelita nor the daughter of this El Shaddai DWXI-PPFI member had seen the other before, the spirit to help was there to overcome all obstacles. The two met at the designated place with only El Shaddai hankies in their hands to identify them. That sister in distress received help.
