The Miracles of Generosity

In closing, I'd like to share with you

Seven Divine Principles of Generosity:

1. Genesis 8:22 says: " ‘As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night will never cease.’ " This means that miracles don’t just happen, they are sown and grown for harvest! Receiving follows giving.

2. Galatians 6:7 says: "Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows." This means that every good thing you do or give to others is a miracle seed you sow for a miracle harvest. Furthermore, Romans 2:6 says: "God ‘will give [a miracle] to each person according to what he has done [or given].’ "

3. 2 Corinthians 9:6 says: "Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously." This means that the more you give or do good to others, the more miracles you store for harvest in due time. If you stop giving or doing good, miracles naturally will stop coming to you. Remember always that behind every command of El Shaddai is a promise of miracle or reward.

4. 2 Corinthians 9:10-11 says: "Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God." This means that God will supply you with the seed to plant and multiply so that you may be able to help many more and that through your generosity many will give thanks to Him, and their thanksgiving will open God’s miracle supply to answer your own personal needs.

5. James 2:17 says: "...faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead." This means that you give or do good because you believe and love God, and you want to please Him, not men, and because God said that whatever we do to others, we do unto Him.

6. Matthew 10:41-42 says: " ‘Anyone who receives [helps] a prophet because he is a prophet will receive a prophet’s reward, and anyone who receives a righteous man because he is a righteous man will receive a righteous man’s reward. And if anyone gives a cup of cold water to one of these little ones because he is My disciple, I tell you the truth, he will certainly not lose his reward.’ " This means that if God knows that you need something which only He can give, He will send someone who needs your help, to give you the opportunity to plant or give a miracle seed that will produce your own miracle harvest! In short, missing an opportunity to give is missing an opportunity to receive a miracle harvest. So don’t miss any opportunity to give (Luke 6:38).

(7) Galatians 6:9-10 says: "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers [of El Shaddai]." This means that every good seed you sow or good work you do will bear fruit in its own time and ripen for harvest at the right time and place, somehow, somewhere, sometime—maybe in two months, maybe in two weeks, maybe in two days, or maybe now! So keep on giving. Let your generosity endure!

Finally, I want you to remember this: God performs miracles so that we will believe in Him. The Bible says: "This became known all over Joppa, and many people believed in the Lord" (Acts 9:42).
