HEALING

Before, my entire body was afflicted with deep, horrible sores. I had to be naked most of the time, and had to lie on banana leaves for a little comfort. I spent a lot of money for medicines, but my condition got even worst. Medical specialists were confused as to the nature of my skin disease. They could not give me any word of encouragement; I had no chance of recovery.

One evening, I tuned in to DWXI (1314 kHz) AM and listened to the Good News of Salvation. At that moment, I realized that I have sinned against God and asked for His forgiveness. Days later, my husband and children attended the El Shaddai DWXI-PPFI Mass and Healing Rally to pray in unity for my healing. Praise God, my sores subsided and started to dry up! Before I knew it, I was completely healed!

Later, I attended a Catholic Life-in-the-Spirit Seminar at the Folk Arts Theater in Manila. The place then was already jam-packed, so I just stood outside with the overflow of people. But instead of avoiding to be wet under the rain, I lifted my hands and wholeheartedly asked God to restore the smoothness of my skin with the raindrops. Thank God, He has restored my health! I now regularly attend our fellowships. Truly, El Shaddai is the Great Physician!

In 1994, while on vacation in the Philippines, I started losing my appetite for no apparent reason. Eventually, I became very weak. Following that, I had difficulty in breathing, so I was rushed to the hospital. After a careful diagnosis, my doctor disclosed that I was suffering from cancer of the lymph nodes. I returned to Australia, and upon my arrival, I was brought straight to a hospital. For five months, I underwent chemotherapy, the CT scan result showed that the treatment had failed. Further diagnosis revealed a complication in my liver so my medication was discontinued. I was so depressed. One evening, I realized that only God could help me. I remembered the handkerchief my sister had given me. Instinctively, I began to read aloud the words of Psalm 91. As I did this, I began to feel an indescribable sense of peace surrounding my whole being. I was brought to tears as I repented of all my sins, asked for God's forgiveness, and accepted in my heart Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. That moment, I prayed for a miracle healing. I slept well that night, and the following day I felt renewed. Since then, I have been blessed with good health. Praise the Lord Jesus Christ!

On April 16, 1994, I learned that the result of a biopsy on my breast was positive—I had cancer. I was told to undergo the routine chemotherapy for a period of two months. I felt hopeless. On August 20, 1994, I chanced upon the live television broadcast of the El Shaddai DWXI-PPFI Tenth Anniversary Celebration at PICC-CCP Grounds. By listening to the Word of God, I received in my heart Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. I joined Bro. Mike in his closing prayer and accepted my complete healing in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. I made a covenant with Him that if He would heal me, I would use the money meant for my treatment to support the El Shaddai DWXI-PPFI. My husband and friends were strongly against my giving of tithes and love-offerings to the Foundation, but I remained firm in my faith that if I would stand on the Word of God and submit myself humbly to His will, then He would heal me. When I had my check-up the following month, I told my doctor that it would be my last chemotherapy for God was going to heal me completely. Praise God, when the result came out, the laboratory tests showed normal cell growth! Truly, there is nothing too difficult for the Lord Jesus Christ!
