For months, I suffered from severe pains on my neck, back and right arm all the way down to my fingers. A friend who used to attend El Shaddai DWXI-PPFI fellowships gave my wife a small bottle of consecrated oil and a handkerchief with instructions for her to pray Psalm 91 printed on it. Every night, my wife would faithfully apply the oil and lay the handkerchief over the painful parts of my body, fervently praying to El Shaddai for my healing, while I continued taking my medication. After a month, I was advised to undergo surgery. When my wife learned about it, she persuaded me to put off any thoughts of operation and instead ask for the help of El Shaddai, which I did. I surrendered myself to God and listened regularly to His Word over DWXI (1314 kHz) AM. Thanks God, two weeks later, I was completely healed without having to undergo surgery! |

There was blood in my urine, and the time came when I could no longer urinate for several days because my urinary system was blocked. Worried by my condition, my mother came home from Hong Kong where she was a overseas Filipino worker. Being a member of the El Shaddai DWXI-PPFI and with faith in the healing power of God, she wrapped a white handkerchief with El Shaddai printed on it, around my abdomen. With joined hands, we earnestly prayed Psalm 91. Instantly, I felt relief and was able to urinate. As I continued listening to the Word of God in the prayer-meetings of the Foundation, and by always reading the Bagong Liwanag magazine, God has healed me of my disease! I consulted several doctors and saw a number of faith healers, all to no avail. Whenever I had an attack of asthma, my body would turn blue for lack of oxygen. In August 1991, my cousin invited me to attend the 7th anniversary of the El Shaddai DWXI-PPFI at the PICC-CCP Grounds in Pasay City. I was very weak then, and my husband at first did not want us to go because it was raining heavily that day. Being held in the open air, our umbrellas were rendered useless against the strong winds and heavy rain. I was completely drenched the whole night. But here in El Shaddai DWXI-PPFI, rain means blessing, a cure for all illnesses! Brothers and sisters, if you didn't get scared of the rain and believe that you are healed, you are indeed healed!" That was not hard to believe and so in the deepest recesses of my heart, I prayed to God that through the rain, the Lord Jesus Christ would cure me of my illness.
