The Batman Adventures comic is almost the same as BTAS and is based on it. She is the daughter of Police Commisioner Gordon, and currently attends Gotham State University. She was a great admirer of the Batman. When she was going to a masquerade party at a hotel, she decided to go as "Batgirl'. When she got to the hotel, there was a kidnapping attempt by Poision Ivy and Harley Quinn. Batgirl beat them up and foiled the attempt. However, Catwoman knocked her out and captured her.
She eventually stopped an burglary by
Catwoman at the same hotel. She was at first afraid, but her confidence
has grown immensley and she continues her crimefighting! She also holds
a close relationship with Robin. They always make a good team, and I think
a possible relationship might happen! Batgirl also is an impressive gymnast--able
to do backflips, cartwheels, and sommersalts.
COSTUME
Made from a modified Batman costume, Barbara's costume is made out of an unknown material. The jumpsuit is grey, but her cowl is bright blue on the top (and black over her face), and allows her hair to hang from under it. The suit has a yellow bat-logo on it, and also a utility belt. Her boots are blue (but short), as are her gloves (which lack bat-fins). She also wears a long cape.

Barbara also rides a motorcycle called the Batgirl Cycle. More will be discovered in the future.
