 Well, well, guess what is Haruka's new obsession. Actually it's been her obsession for a very very long time and she just found out about it recently. (???) Yeah, I know. I'm not gonna tell you that story though. This page is devoted to the Kinki Kids band, a J-pop duo of actors part of the company known as Johnny's Entertainment, or Johnny's Club, or Johnny's Family, or whatever... the point is they're very well known all over Japan. As are the Kinki Kids.
The group is comprised of two boys, Doumoto Kouichi and Doumoto Tsuyoshi. Though they have the same last name, they are not related. They both come from an area of Japan called the Kinki prefecture, which is where they get their name. No, not that kind of Kinki, thanks, as my parents have raised their eyebrows at before. The Kinki Kids deal mostly in pop or light rock, and their music is rather difficult to place in the genre somewhere between Backstreet Boys and Glay. They're also well known as actors and comedians, and have performed in various dramas. They weren't always a pop band; they started out as actors and eventually performed with SMAP (a big-time talent group) and grew famous when Panasonic cast them for commercials.
