but oh the joy of the seasons cheer.
Families and friends celebrate and make merry,
with gifts aplenty that they carry.
Come gather around one and all,
as the little ones anticipate the arrival of Santa Claus.
With sparkling snow on the ground
we shall gather around,
to sing carols in the avenues at night.
For all are good neighbors we will share the delight,
of the seasons most splendid and wonderful day.
What brings such happiness I am happy to say:
Tis the birth of baby Jesus, so long ago,
the most precious gift wrapped in swaddling clothes.
With the Christ child's birth
joy and peace would spread over the earth.
For with his birth Jesus gave, the true gift of Christmas, eternal life.
No greater love or sacrifice.
