May God help us focus on the love relationship that He has called us to. Let us not leave this relationship and take things into our own hands. Know the ways of God so thoroughly that if something does not measure up to God's ways, you know that it's not from Him.

Know that God wants you to experience Him through your obedience to Him. He wants to accomplish His purposes through you. This is the fruit of the love relationship you are nurturing with Jesus Christ.

And this is the experience that God wants to reveal Himself to you when you obey. When I obey God to preach, it is not my voice or words that convicts the hearts of the listeners. It is God the Holy Spirit convicting men of the truth. When you obey God to speak the gospel to your friends, it is God who leads them to confess their sins. God wants to work through us, in His time, to experience Him and be blessed.

So, my friends, remember this....

"When we walk with the Lord in the light of His Word,
What a glory He sheds on our way;
When we do His good will, He abides with us still,
And with all who will trust and obey.

Trust and obey for there's no other way to be happy in Jesus,
but to trust and obey."
