I am Mike Buckwalter. Currently I am 17 and I am a Junior in high school this school year. I'm a little different than you're average 16 year-old boy...ok a lot different! (Psycho!!!) I like Japanese Animation (hey! imagine that!), Role-Playing games, Video Games (fighting, RPG's, Adventure, Real-time strategy), music, such as J-pop, Game soundtracks, trance, electronic, classical, and anything that I find to be enjoyable to listen to, which includes a LOT of genres! Also,designing Web-pages, computers, and I even do a little programming. I also love science, and reading science fiction. Other than watching anime, I watch a few TV shows here and there. A few. My favorite anime series is Fushigi Yûgi, then Rayearth.

I think that more people need to be aware of Anime, because it is something that is really special. The amazing stories told, the wonderful animation, and the characters found in anime are amazing. I'd suggest to anyone to give anime a try. Series like "Evangelion" really inspire me philosophically, and they make me think. Heheh. Ya. Some other really great anime are Magic Knight Rayearth, Record of Lodoss War, Vision of Escaflowne, Rurouni Kenshin and The Slayers. Studio CLAMP is a great anime-producing studio. I don't find too many anime fans out there, but it's really nice to have someone to talk about anime.

If you're looking to buy anime, stores like Electronics Boutique and Media Play sell plenty of anime on VHS, and DVD.
