Other Good Anime
I'm bringing more of the best of Japanese animation to you!

I decided to add this section, so I can recommend some other anime to those that are new to anime, or to regular watchers, that want to try something new. Well, lets get to the anime shall we?

Gundam Wing - This is an anime that I came across on Cartoon Network and though it was dubbed, (heheh) I found the show to be quite enjoyable. It may be a little hard to understand, due to its' political nature, but the combat scenes betweeb mecha are quite enjoyable. Even someone who doesn't like mecha-to-mecha combat should enjoy this anime.

It involves 5 boys aged 15, who pilot these giant "Gundams" which are mecha creatures sent to earth from the space colonies to stop an orginization called "OZ". These boys are all basically insane, and the show takes place in the future, after human beings head out to space colonies. Overall, I'd give it 4/5 stars, for good action, story, and it keeps you interested.

Evangelion - Yipes. This is NOT your average anime. This is "Neon Genesis Evangelion", or "Shinseiki Evangelion" in Japan. It is a Drama/Action Anime about the earth after second impact (meteor struck arctica in 2000, 3/4 population dies), where three special 14 year olds must pilot humanoid fighting machines called "Evangelions" in order to save the earth from "Angels". I'd recommend looking at my Evangelion site if you're interested. Very intense anime, with 2 movies out. It's just insane is all I can say. I'd give it 4.5/5 stars....maybe 5/5 but I haven't seen it all ;) This one is worth checking out.

Sailor Moon - Ahh yes. Bishouju Senshi Sailor Moon (Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon) brings back fond memories. Sailor Moon was my first anime. I was drawn into it's story and characters. Though a strong Shouju anime, this title can be a lot of fun for guys too. It involves 5 (at first) normal girls in Tokyo who are really sailor scouts, each with their own respective planet to protect. They battle several enemies, and it gets pretty interesting. Go to the Anime Turnpike and look it up if you want more on it! Cartoon Network is airing the new Sailor Moon S series now, and it's pretty good. With plenty of action, neat characters (Outer Senshi), and good villians, I'd check this one out, and at least give it a try. 4/5 stars.

More titles I recommend and/or will review are: Tenchi Muyo! DBZ, Sakura Wars, Ranma ½, The Vision of Escaflowne, Rurouni Kenshin, Magic Knights Rayearth, Card Captor Sakura and Campus Detectives. For all you gaming anime fans out there (me too ^^), go get Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure, Lunar: Silver Star Story, Lunar: Eternal Blue, and Thousand arms now!
