Ken Ichijouji

Ken Ichijouji's brother Sam was a genious and got more attention from his parents. He wished Sam would disappear so his parents would pay more attention to him. When his brother died in a car accident he thought it was his fault since he had wished him to disappear. He blamed himself for his brothers death. On one of his first trips to the digital world a dark spore implanted itself in his neck during a sandstorm. An e-mail was written to him saying he would be expected to carry on the legacy of Sam by becoming a genious himself. The e-mail said that he could escape his problems by going to the digital world which would be his own world to rule. Thus the darkspore grew and he became the Digimon emperor.
He's an excellent soccer player, a champion blackbelt in Judo, a world renown chess player, an excellent computer programmer, and a geneous. Yolei said, "...and he has dashing good looks too". Kari said, "his face makes him look so gentle" and TK said, "but his hair cut makes you look like you, Kari". Ken isn't evil. He just didn't understand that Digimon were living creatures. Any evil he did was because of the dark spore inside him. Once he realized Digimon were living creatures he changed his ways and became "the kind gentle person wormmon always wanted [him] to be."

He's my favorite digidestined of both season 1 and 2. If I had any crest it wouldn't be the crest of courage, love, or friendship. It would be the crest of kindness which suits Ken well.
