Welcome back everyone! I hope you enjoyed the first issue of this newsletter, and I hope you will like the second issue as much, if not more, than the first. There are a few new features in this issue, such as a family tree. I hope to add a few names to the tree in every issue, so that it keeps getting bigger as time goes on. I realize now that I didnt write very much about myself in the last issue, but as editor of the newsletter I hope you will get to know me a bit better. (Also, if anyone wants at any time to write me personally, Id be tickled pink.) Since the last issue was released, I was officially accepted to the University of Waterloo for full-time studies. I was previously taking part-time courses there while working at the bakery. I started my full-time studies in the fall, I quit my job then so I could concentrate on school. However, Im still working part-time, at least until Christmas. (Which is a VERY good thing, since Ive been having lots of difficulty processing my student loan.) Also this fall I moved into a new apartment with my boyfriend Mike, who also goes to the University of Waterloo. Its a first for both of us so we were a bit nervous about it, but weve been okay so far, and our friends seem to think that we can handle it too. My major interest right now, outside of school, is playing Bridge. Well, learning HOW to play Bridge is probably a better way to put it. Ive joined the Bridge Club at school, and theyve been giving me lessons. Plus, theyve given me a whole new crowd of people to hang around with (youd be surprised how many young people enjoy - no, are OBSESSED with - playing Bridge). Thats about all for now. But before I go, I would like to thank everyone who contributed to these first two issues, and to those people who wrote comments about the first issue. Please keep writing, it is much appreciated. Also, I would like to encourage everyone to contribute their stories, photos, and other family related news. After all, communication between family members is the entire purpose of this newsletter.
