glue's Comment:
Her relaxing voice and active rythm are great contrast to each other.
I bought this album because I wanted something more up-tempo.
After listening to soft, restrained voices of other artists, Marisa's voice
(or is it an accompaniment?) sounds very lively to me.
I'm sure I'll buy her other albums!
My favorites are, Maria de verdade, Segue o Seco, and Esta Melodia.

glue's Comment:
I bought this album, because I needed to listen to Look to the Sky
to perform with my flute. The album title is Wave. As far as the
performance is concerned, ACJ can't beat Oscar peterson, BUT,
how can he create so many beautiful masterpieces!?
He truely was a genius...sigh...

glue's Comment:
I bought this album, because the last Lisa's album I bought, Bossa Carioca
was amazingly good. But hmmmm... this is not really my favorite.
Sounds a bit toned down... but that's because I'm going back in time.
It means she's growing as an artist every year.
Anyway, the instrumental performance is great in Red Blouse.

15. Samba de Enredo
16. Taiyo no Kodomotachi
glue's Comment:
It was necessary for me to purchase this album, as I was a little
disappointed by her last album, Essencia. I needed to know if she's
a good artist outside the album, Bossa Carioca. I'm glad I bought this
album. It assured me of her talent as a great Bossa artist!
Together with Bossa Carioca, this became one of my favorite albums.
My favorites are, Carnival, Brisa do Mar, Sambadouro, O Corso,
Flor do Campo,...... well, all of them. Passio Nas Estrelas is a special piece
for me. Lisa wrote this for a wine commercial in Japan. I heard this song
on TV again and again when I was a junior highschool student, which was
a long lo-ng time ago... sigh....

glue's Comment:
1999 Grammy Award winning album, for the Best World Music.
Hmmm... How could I say anything about such a dedicated and talented artist?
Not only his melody, but lyrics tell me I'm not worthy of commenting
on his works... His voice is very soft, and tender, but his words are
bit too heavy on me, I'm only an amateur Bossa listener!!!
Livros wowed me... but I managed to recover from the damage when I
listened to the next song, Onde O Rio E Mais Baiano.
I'll comment more once I know more about Bossa... excuse me!
