I really like her voice. She seems to sing naturally without any effort.
Her style is very "Cool" , and enjoyable. I heard that she's a genuine
Brazilian singer, unaffected by trend or commercialism. She probably
doesn't make any effort to make herself known to world, 'cause she
doesn't need to!
My favorites are, Aquarela do Brazil, Feitico da Vila, Juras, and
Abajur Lilas with Ivan Lins as a special guest.

This CD was given to me by one of my highschool friends, who works
for a record company in Tokyo. Thanks M.S!!! She was playing this album
when I visited her house. When I told her I like this album, she gave it
to me right away. Good to have a generous friend!
I don't know much about Marcos Valle, (well, I don't know much about
anyone...) but I can tell his sound is very smooth and funky at the same
time. Not too bossa nova bossa nova... should I say? More suitable for
easy-going person? well, good for summer for sure.
My favorites are, O Indio E o Brasil, Realidade, and Lost in Tokyo
Subway, which instrumental performance is suitable for its title.
I've never got lost in London, Paris, or New York subway, but got lost
countless time in Tokyo subway... and I'm native Tokyonian!

He definitely is my number-one male vocalist! When I first heard
this album, I was at home, probably studying at my desk. But starting
with Aquales olhos verdes, I couldn't concentrate anymore!
My goodness, I was melting!!!
His voice is very soft, mature, and romantic!!! Sing for me Milton!!!
But I don't know about his Beat it..... I'm sorry.

At first, I bought this album, 'cause the cover was very cute. just joking...
So many fabulous guests singing in this album. This is the album for summer.
Also, when I'm down, I feel positive listening to this album.
Not as good as Brasileiro, but I'm glad I bought this.
Makes me want to get out of the city though...

A fashionable Bossa Nova! She's got some cool, natural, and
mature voice. But I was impressed by her guitar more.
"I'm just embracing a friend", said Joyce as she created this album
as a tribute to a Bossa Nova queen, Elis Regina.
My favorite is Samba pra Elis.
