Look Before You Leap

Attorney

Choosing an Attorney. There a million attorneys out there. It is crucial to find one who you feel very comfortable with as you will be spending a lot of time with them. You need to feel that your attorney totally understands you and your case and can be depended on for truthful and forthright advice. If you choose the wrong attorney- You loose. And you could loose everything.

To choose the wrong attorney could cause you to later have to find a new one, prolonging your case and adding to further cost.

Be sure to find an attorney who specializes in your type of case, and has experience. It is very important to find an attorney that will follow your instruction. Many times an attorney will treat the case like it is their case.

You know your case better than your attorney, and many times will know what will help or hurt your case more than your attorney will, so you need to find an attorney that will listen to you and follow your instruction.

If your attorney develops an ego, or will not answer your attempted communications, and will not follow your instruction, find a new one! More than likely your attorney will survive if you loose your lawsuit, you may not. Lawsuits are a gamble. Don't rest anything on incompetent representation.
