Skyline: The lift travels up the Seattle Space Needle.

Plot: It's Christmas in Seattle and Frasier is looking forward to having Frederick come to stay with him. It's because of this that Frasier says "no" when Bulldog asks him to do the Christmas Day shift. Meanwhile Niles is trying to get Daphne to come with him and Maris to his log cabin for Christmas. Daphne declines, as she's visiting her Uncle Jackie in San Francisco.

Later Frasier finds out that Lilith is taking Frederick to Austria to visit the set of his favourite film, The Sound Of Music. This upsets both Frasier and Martin, and they have an argument. Frasier decides to do the Christmas shift after all.

His callers are very depressing, and he soon sends Roz home. After work, Frasier stops at Lou's, the only eatery open that day. Trouble is, Frasier is dressed rather casually, he's left his wallet at KACL, and the other people there want to help him. It is, after all, his first Christmas on the streets.....

Subtitles: The Office Christmas Party; Miracle On 3rd or 4th Street.

It's Maris!!!: Maris is a foot shorter than Daphne.

Where Everybody Knows Your Name: Mentions of Lilith and Frederick.

Trivia: Last appearance of "Chopper" Dave, only appearance of Bonnie Weems, mention of Father Mike. First appearance of Elizabeth.
