Skyline: Lights go on in the skyscrapers.

Plot: Frasier thinks he's losing his marbles and his memory when he forgets Roz's name live on air, much to her amusement. She gets her own back by pretending it's her birthday. Frasier thinks his memory is going even more when he forgets how to play a piece on the piano. Martin tells him not to worry - after all, when Martin went through middle age, he dyed his hair black and bought a Harley Davidson. Frasier, however, continues to worry.

Later, Frasier, Martin and Daphne go clothes shopping, where the sales assistant, Carrie, catches Frasier's attention. She says she thinks he's 34 and an architect. Frasier is very flattered, and despite Martin saying she probably flatters all her customers. Frasier thinks there is a possibility.

However when Carrie comes to KACL to ask Dr Crane on a date he refuses, thinking he's too old for her. He doesn't want to end up like Stanley Barrister, a 60 year old man who is dating a 21 year old. But after talking with Niles, who says that if Frasier wants to date Carrie then he should, he changes his mind and rushes off to the store, trying to find her.....

Subtitles: The Short Blond Man With One Wet Shoe; It's This Or An Alfa Romeo; Stanley Barrister Must Be Really, Really Rich; I Wonder If That Alfa Romeo Showroom Is Still Open.

Trivia: This is the last episode written by Sy Dukane and Denise Moss, and also the first episode to be directed by Rick Beren. Final Season 1 appearance of Bulldog - but he'll be back.....
