Skyline: The lift travels up the Seattle Space Needle.

Plot: Niles is meeting his publisher to discuss a book. Trouble is, Niles has no idea what he's writing about. When Sam Tanaka, the publisher, arrives at Café Nervosa he suggests the brothers Crane write a book on sibling relationships. Niles quickly says that's why he called Mr Tanaka there anyway.

Reluctantly Frasier agrees to help Niles out. They use his radio show for information. However Mr Tanaka calls Niles who says they have already written the first 3 chapters, when in fact they haven't written a word....

Frasier and Niles decide to lock themselves in a hotel room and not come out until they have written the book. But with only each other for company, it looks like Frasier and Niles are too busy with their own sibling rivalry to write about anyone else's.....

Subtitles: It Was Probably Lake Smith; The Mother Lode; George & Ida.

It's Maris!!!: Maris runs a sherry club and likes Niles out of the house during meetings.

Martin knows..... Mitch Gossit, who was Martin's first partner. They had an argument and Gossie was stabbed before Martin could make it up with him. Or so he says - he confesses to Daphne that he just made up the story to make his sons decide to make up.

Trivia: This is the first episode written by Don Siegel and the only episode written by Jerry Perzigian. First appearance of the Waitress, played by Luck Hari. Mentions of Hester Crane.
