Skyline: The light at the top of the Space Needle flashes.

Plot: Martin has appeared in a commercial for Holden Thrope, a right-wing man seeking election as a Congressman. Frasier and Niles are horrified, so Niles tries to convince Frasier and Martin to vote for the other candidate, Phil Patterson.

When he realises he can't criticise Martin for his beliefs, Niles tries to get Frasier to endorse Mr Patterson on his show. Frasier is reluctant to do this, until Mr Thrope rings in and gives him a hard time. Frasier then decides to do an advert for Mr Patterson.

During a break in filming, Frasier and Phil talk on the balcony. Phil says he was once abducted by aliens and taken to a Peace Conference. Frasier finds the advert difficult after this but still goes ahead.

Next day, Bulldog and Roz confirm Phil's story - he's met aliens. Frasier goes on air and tells his listeners that it doesn't matter that Phil Patterson believes in little green men, he's still the right man. But then Frasier finds out that when Phil said "aliens", he meant a couple of illegal Guatemalan immigrants living in his house.....
