Skyline: The lift travels up the Seattle Space Needle.Plot: Roz turns up at Cafe Nervosa with an Angie Dickenson video Frasier needs to return, and Frasier puts it in his suitcase. His suitcase - which also contains a navy suit - is then stolen. After accidentally accusing a man with a similar case who says he's a priest - then finding out he really is a priest and it really is his case - Frasier goes home to cancel his credit cards. Frasier says he's not going to change his life philosophy because of one little incident, but makes an appeal on his show for his briefcase, giving out tips on how the suit should be worn. A man calls and agrees to meet Frasier at Café Nervosa. But instead of turning up, he steals Frasier's car with the spare keys in the case. Next day, a caller, Denise, phones in to cancel a date that "Frasier" made last night. Frasier realises that the thief is using his name now and after playing along finds out where the thief will be. He then goes down to meet his impostor, a man named Phil, to see why he's stolen his life. It turns out Phil has always been lazy, but he still has a trick up his sleeve when the police arrive. Meanwhile Niles is becoming fed up with rude people in Café Nervosa, where he is meeting Frasier. He tries taking a stand at a female customer who is pushing in to the queue at the counter and ends up buying her a coffee after she smiles at him. Subtitles: A Brief Case Of Love. Martin knows..... Charlie, who is keeping an eye out for Frasier's BMW. Trivia: Rather bizarrely, no-one is credited as Denise, the caller to the show. Maybe it is the same actress who plays Maris... :-) This is the first episode directed by Philip Charles MacKenzie. First appearance of the waiter, played by Paul Cusimano. Roz calls Martin by his name for the first time rather than "Mr Crane". And we learn Café Nervosa is on the corner of Pike and 3rd Streets. |
