Skyline: A rain-cloud passes over the city.Plot: Frasier dismisses a psychotherapy book Daphne is reading by Dr Honey Snow as a "load of tripe". He thinks it is full of hugs and goodness. Niles too is dismissive, as he is more interested in selling raffle tickets for Maris' opera group - the first prize being Mrs Fitzgibbons coming over to sing "Ride Of The Valkyries". Daphne also asks Niles to invest $500 on his new stockbroker Wendell and Frasier to take her book down to the Book Nook, where Dr Snow is doing a signing. Together with Roz, Frasier does so, and sees she's a blonde nymphet with large breasts. Of course now Frasier really likes her, and Roz leaves. Later Niles has good news - Daphne's won $200. She kisses him as a thank you. Honey arrives for dinner and asks Frasier to write an introduction to her new book. Frasier agrees. 2 weeks later, he still hasn't come up with one. Niles is delighted - how is Frasier going to get out of his name being used to promote such "twaddle"? Daphne then comes in and Niles gives her another $200. Frasier is puzzled - his shares went down. Niles confesses he's giving Daphne money for kisses and cuddles!!! Frasier finally tells Honey that he can't write an introduction because he doesn't like her books. Honey likes his honesty, but poor Frasier doesn't know where to stop..... Subtitles: Are There Any More Like You At The Institute?; You Scratch My Book; Shrink Rap. Trivia: This is the last episode directed by Andy Ackerman. Recognise the subtitles? The second one is the name of this episode and the last one is the name of Ep 50!!! |
