Skyline: A shooting star passes over the skyline.

Plot: KACL have set up focus groups for their shows - and Frasier is upset because only 11 out of 12 liked his show. Frasier becomes obsessed with trying to find out why the 12th member, Manu, didn't like it.

Later the Cranes are going out to dinner, and Frasier spots Manu - a news vendor. Frasier stops the car and asks Martin to go and find out why he doesn't like Frasier. Frasier asks Martin to tell Manu he's a businessman from Cleveland, but Martin just tells him the truth.

Martin comes back and tells Frasier that Manu just finds him annoying, but this isn't enough and he goes to confront him to find out exactly why he is annoying. Manu tells Frasier that he is pompous, overbearing etc, but then Frasier accidentally burns down Manu's newsstand. Still, at least Frasier now has his answer...

Meanwhile Niles and Daphne are both in foul moods - she's cross because Joe is spending their 6 month anniversary in Las Vegas with his friends, Niles because he broke a painting and has to repair it - and have an argument. Daphne regrets this later on, but Niles is turned on and tries getting to a fight with Daphne more often.

Subtitles: Looks Like He Had A Side of Sausage Too; Liar, Liar, Pants On Fire.

Roz loves….. The data collector who liked Roz's laugh.

Trivia: This is the final episode directed by Philip Charles MacKenzie, who directed most of Season 3. Last Season 3 appearance of Bulldog. Tony Shalhoub, who played Manu, also appeared in Wings, a show which was also created by Frasier creators David Angell, Peter Casey and David Lee. Frasier himself made an appearance on that show as well during his time on Cheers. There is a mention of Joe DeCarlo. When sitting in the car, Niles feels he's trapped between heaven and hell when sitting in his car - the Ritz and the docks…..
