Plot: Frasier gives Martin and Sherry tickets to the Nashville On Ice show to get them out of the apartment as he is hosting a party for his theatre group. Roz has met up with an old schoolfriend, John Coughlin, and becomes concerned about her appearance.

At the party Frasier and Niles try to get dates. Niles is totally unsuccessful, but Frasier manages to get three of them!!! One for each night of the upcoming holiday weekend.

Frasier's first date is with Kimberley Egan, who is an animal-loving Catholic vegetarian. This date soon ends when Martin and Sherry return early with some meat and discover Eddie locked in Martin's room.

Next morning Martin and Sherry have an argument and a distraught Sherry leaves - their relationship is over. Frasier and Niles are pleased, but Daphne thinks Martin is hiding his true feelings towards her.

Frasier's second date is with Adair Peck, but when Sherry turns up to collect some things, she thinks Adair is Kimberley. Adair is horrified - Kimberley broke up Adair's first marriage. So that date is over.

Sherry talks to Frasier and Niles about why she and Martin broke up - she said "I love you" but he was hesitant in saying it back. Frasier agrees to talk to his father, against Niles' wishes.

Frasier's third date is with Leslie Wellman, but again Sherry turns up to speak to Martin. Frasier has to leave Leslie on the couch whilst he talks to his father. It turns out Martin feels guilty about betraying Hester by saying "I love you" to another woman. So poor Frasier has to stop Martin feeling guilty, fix the relationship between Martin and Sherry and still enjoy his date with Leslie…..

Subtitles: Hat Trick; A Fly In The Ointment; He Couldn't Have Waited Until He Came In The House?

Roz loves….. the three guys she dated - all on the same day. She apparently had enough time to defrost her fridge and rotate her tyres.

Where Everybody Knows Your Name: Frasier receives a call from his old friend Norm Peterson from Cheers, plus a mention of Nanette, Frasier's first wife.

Trivia: An hour long special shown in two parts here in the UK (I have still counted it as one episode). Mentions of Hester Crane.
