Plot: It's a few days before Daphne and Donny's wedding. Niles is given some romantic advice from Frasier and decides to take Mel away for a few days to take his mind off the wedding.
Daphne also has a problem - she thinks she loves Niles. She tells Frasier that she knows about his brother's feelings for her and that he was the one who let it slip (Frasier of course being under the effect of some pills when he told Daphne and having no idea that he'd done so). Frasier prepares to tell Niles when he returns but when he does so he has a surprise - he and Mel have got married!!!
Frasier decides to tell Niles that Daphne knows and that she feels the same way, saying that Roz told her. At the party the night before the wedding, Daphne's family arrive, causing untold problems. Niles finally tells Daphne how he feels. Daphne lets him down gently, saying she loves Donny.
At the church, Niles decides to stay in the Winnebago as he cannot bear to watch Daphne get married. A few minutes after Frasier and Martin leave him to go inside, a certain woman in a wedding dress comes running up to him and asks him if he'd fancy a date.....
Subtitles: Momento Morrie; Absence Makes The Heart Grow Fatter; The Rehearsal Dinner.
Trivia: Niles finally tells Daphne he loves her. Daphne also calls him "Niles" at the end rather than "Dr Crane". And, Donny is the second fiancé Daphne has broken up with (the first being Clive). Mention of
Mr Moon. Brooks Almy, who plays Mrs Richman, also plays the mother in the elevator in Ep 104 "Perspectives On Christmas". In fact, they could be the same character!!!Read the script of this episode at
