Skyline: An aeroplane files overhead with a KACL banner.Plot: On their way to the opera, Frasier, his date Chelsea, Niles and Daphne get into trouble when their car breaks down. Frasier and Niles try to fix it but in the end realise they don't know anything about cars. The Cranes enrol in an Auto Repair Workshop with their teacher Randy. However they get confused and soon fall behind. After Randy tells them they have a lot of work to do to catch up, Frasier and Niles decide to quit the class - after all, they won't need to know all this, will they? However they don't quit after Daphne tells Niles she is aroused by the thought of him rescuing her by the roadside and Martin tells Frasier how proud he is of him. The brothers Crane go to Café Nervosa and swot to make themselves ace at the subject. When Roz tells them of her college days and how she used to do work at the last minute etc, Frasier and Niles decide to do the same thing - for the first time in their lives, they're the class clowns!!! Meanwhile Roz has got Alice a new puppy and asks Martin to help her train him. However the pooch, whom Martin names Frankie (Alice has named him Ariel after the Little Mermaid), begins to think that Martin is his owner. Subtitles: Gentlemen, Meet Your Engines; The Coasters. Trivia: One of the few times Roz and Eddie have a scene together - when Martin doesn't want to hand Frankie/Ariel over, Roz picks up Eddie and walks over to the door. When they're acting like clowns, Frasier and Niles begin writing notes to each other - in French!!! Mentions of Billy Kreizel (Ep 35 "Seat Of Power) and Alice, who is at playgroup. Daphne mentions her mum and Martin mentions his dad by the way. |
