Skyline: A hot air balloon passes over the skyline.

Plot: Roz is being very cranky at work for some reason, being rude to all the callers. Frasier finds out she hasn't had a date for a while and has no plans for the weekend. He does though - Frederick is coming to visit.

However Frederick is now a teenager and is more interested in playing on his computer games and watching MTV than spending time with his father. Frasier tries to bond with his son by taking him to the Computer Expo or reading books together but Frederick isn't interested. Martin tells Frasier that kids that age don't want to speak to their dads and that it's just natural, but Frasier decides that he, Martin and Frederick are going on a camping trip the next day to bond.

However this doesn't work as Frederick finds some other kids to hang around with, including a girl named Melody. This bugs Frasier, who instead tries to bond with Martin. They have a row about Martin's sarcasm and Frasier thinks all is lost. Then Frederick comes in with something special to tell his dad - he's had his first kiss. Father and son talk about girls and at last Frasier has his "golden moment" with his son.

Meanwhile Daphne is trying to fix Roz up with some of Niles' friends, but they keep leaving due to emergencies. Roz is so upset that Daphne invites her to join her romantic evening with Niles, much to Niles' annoyance.....

Subtitles: Was There A Doctor In The House?; Why Does His Breath Smell Like Mortadella?

Roz loves..... Dr Jack Belcher, but he has to leave due to a medical emergency. To get rid of Roz, Niles calls his friend Hans, but he too has to leave. Oh, and Roz once dated Nick, who was "a jerk".

Where Everybody Knows Your Name: Mention of Lilith and a reappearance of Frederick

Trivia: Mentions of Dr Tewkesbury from the previous episode, Alice Doyle and Duke - Frasier is using Duke's sleeping bag, and Duke had wet himself after hearing one of Martin's not very scary stories. Frasier mentions a cheerleader from his youth called Lorna - could this be Lorna Lynley from Ep 156 "Big Crane On Campus"? And Frederick gets his first kiss.....
