Skyline: A rain-cloud passes over the city.

Plot: Niles has just been re-elected as Corkmaster at the wine club when Frasier bursts in with some news - he's resigning!!! This is because Kenny has given Frasier his own wine show on KACL - Wine Corner - to be held during the last 15 minutes of Gil's show. Frasier invites the members of the club to phone in and talk about wine.

After the first show, Frasier wonders why none of the wine club has called in. He finds out the answer that evening when he hears that Niles, as Corkmaster, has banned them from doing so!!!

Frasier confronts Niles, who says that the Club conduct prevents the members from phoning in. However Frasier thinks that Niles is just jealous and is using these rules to hide behind. This leads to a massive argument between the brothers. Frasier tries to apologise later on but Niles won't hear of it. This means that something drastic will have to be done, such as Martin telling them off in front of the wine club.....

Meanwhile Frasier hires a new therapist to replace Daphne whilst she's away - a German woman named Frederica. Martin doesn't like her, but doesn't want to get rid of her because her cooking is so good.....

Subtitles: Oenology For Dummies; Whine Club.

Trivia: Daphne is still at the health spa. This episode could be considered a sequel to Ep 159 "Whine Club", as it is based on the idea of Niles being Corkmaster - he was elected in that episode.
