Skyline: The lift travels up the Seattle Space Needle.

Plot: Mrs Moon has let her daughter know her father has left her, and she's very upset. Niles and Daphne have to take care of her as she doesn't want to go home. But her insistence that Daphne is a virgin is effecting Niles and Daphne's love life.

Back at Frasier's place, Simon keeps bringing his girlfriends there, and Frasier has had enough. He chucks Simon out, and after trying to get a place at Roz's, Simon decides to leave Seattle and head to California to see some friends, leaving Daphne to take care of her mum. When Mrs Moon says that she understand why Simon left, as he has hopes and dreams, Daphne explodes with anger and tells her mum that she has them too. She even moved half way across the world to accomplish them - and she's no virgin!

Mrs Moon is angry and upset and vows to fly home the very next day, but then she "trips" and "hurts herself" (she's faking) and can't fly home. Niles knows that she will have to stay with him a lot longer than he thought.....

Meanwhile Frasier attends a condo board meeting to try and get Cam Winston to remove his big US flag from blocking Frasier's balcony. Cam removes the flag, but at a price to Frasier.

Subtitles: Not One Of Them Knows The Second Verse.

Trivia: Returns of Mrs Richman, Albert and Mr Williams, all of who appeared in Ep 109 "Perspectives On Christmas" (although Mr Williams was just credited as Man in Hallway in that episode), and of everyone from the previous episode. Mrs Moon begins her longer than expected visit to Seattle. She's staying with Niles, and Daphne says she will move in with him as soon as her mum leaves (the plan was originally for the 3 to live together but Niles realises this would drive Daphne round the bend.) A mention of Daphne's other 7 brothers - they've all "sided with Dad." Plus we learn that Daphne lost her virginity to a boy with a lazy eye!
