Skyline: Lights go on in the skyscrapers.Plot: Niles and Daphne are taking a few of each other's things over to each other's houses - essentials such as nightwear etc - when they come to a big decision. They're going to move in together! They tell Frasier and Martin who are pleased yet sad that Daphne will be going. The telephone rings, and later Daphne says the move is off - her parents are coming to visit and she doesn't want to "confuse" them with the move. Niles unwittingly finds himself playing hosts to the Moons in the Montana. On the day of the arrival, Daphne returns from the airport with her mum - and loutish brother Simon! Mr Moon wasn't able to make it so Simon came instead. Martin offers to let Simon stay with him and Simon accepts, much to Frasier's horror. Then Niles finds out Mrs Moon thinks Daphne is still a virgin. This means she and Niles have to be careful what they do to each other when Mrs Moon is around. 5 days later Mrs Moon is driving Niles nuts, and he's noticed that Daphne is quite timid when her mother is around. Frasier makes a toast to Niles and Daphne in front of her mum - who then starts to cry. For Mr Moon has left her..... Meanwhile Frasier's having a feud with the man who lives above him, Cam Winston. Subtitles: 3265 Insults And 5 Days Later.... Trivia: Another mention of Roz's boyfriend Roger - Simon remembers Roz (although he calls her Rose) and wants "another go" at things. Roz says she has a boyfriend, and besides, they never had a "go" anyway. Mentions of Mr Moon, Maris and Mel, and an indirect mention of Donny, as Mrs Moon was "quite cross" with Niles when he "stole" her daughter from that "rich lawyer". Mrs Moon is satisfied though with Niles' apartment and thinks Daphne will be OK with him. Plus Cam Winston was mentioned in Ep 153 "The Fight Before Christmas". |
