125 km eastern Gorgân and 35 km west of Golestân national park, you find the small town of Gâlikeš (Gâlikesh), in the middle of bushy forest, which has given a beautiful scence to this town.Gâlikeš together with Minu Dašt and Kalâle are three main towns in Minu Dašt district. City Population: 2000
Excursions: Luve waterfalls: Feel and enjoy the beauty of the cascading Luve waterfalls. As one of the most beautiful wasterfalls in the whole country, since its location in foothill and bushy forest has a unique display. Luve waterfalls are situated 20 km NE Gâlikeš (c.5 km off Gorgân-Mašhad main road, nr.22). There is a village with the same name(Luve), not toofar from the waterfalls. Lal spring: Lal spring ( Cešme Lal), a 30 hectars natural sprin in the bushy forest, 28 km NE of Gâlikeš town, on the road nr. 22, after the village of Š oqâl Tape . Getting there: The easiest way to reach these attractions is to charter a car from Minu Dašt .You can even get arranged trips to these attractions, by contacting some travel agency in Minu Dašt or Gorgân. Accessibility: There are also daily minibuses to Gâlikeš from Minu Dašt (10 km) and Gorgân (125 km). |
