abigail and ginger

ginger would look like this if she dressed like her stuffy.

We found abigail and ginger in August 2002. When we did maps of our inside house, we found we had an extra bedroom on the kids' floor. Later that day, our kids were playing in their safe playroom, and david told our bigs that he saw two new kids. The two girls were peeking out of the closet space nearby, and when david saw them, they hid inside again.

We worked real hard to let the two new girls know they were safe. They didn't come out at first, but they did let david's and Sophie's dogs come into the closets. When the dogs helped them feel safe enough, the girls came out again. And they've been out with the other littles since then.

abby is three and believes the best way to help someone feel happy is to give them chocolate-chip cookies. smiley

ginger is one and a half, and she wears special shoes to keep her feet flat and straight when she walks. abby now has a cow stuffy named Grazer, who's like a Beanie Baby but a little larger, and made by the same people. ginger has a little stuffy by Anne Geddes called Baby Bear.
