Deidra is eight years old. Her older sisters are Aurora17, Aurora13, and 11-year-old Nona. Six-and-a-half-year-old twins emily and heidi are her younger sisters. None of them talk with words, but they make themselves understood in other ways. Like Nona, Deidra is a protector for the kids. Deidra's name used to be Don't Touch. She picked the name Deidra Therese so she could have the same initials. The name Deidra comes from an Irish heroine from the first century.

While most of us like the New York Yankees, Deidra likes the New York Mets. Her favorite player is Mike Piazza. (Deidra also wants everyone to know that she doesn't like Pedro Martinez at all. )

The Mets are sometimes called "The Amazins."
