Kinsley. An interesting biography of Dr. Kinsley, the man best know for his studies on sex, particularly his scale of sexual attraction. (I think it's like 0's pure straight, 6's pure gay, 3's evenly bi or something like that.) A very interesting story. A little boring at parts but overall very interesting. The gay sex is almost blink-and-you'll-miss-it but the ongoing twisted relationship between Dr. Kinsley and his reasearch assistant is very well done. A brilliant piece, very much worth seeing and highly recommended.
L.I.E. Not sure what the production information is for the movie, but I highly recommend this film. It's made in a documentary style, chronicling the life of a 15 year old boy as his mother dies, his best friend betrays him, and his father goes to jail. Deals with gay prostitution and pedophilia. Very well done, though fairly depressing. The story's interesting, not quite dealing with the gay life style but skirting on the brinks of gay subculture. Sort of. Needless to say, it's definitely worth renting.
