Painting has always been my hobby. Here are several of my latest work of arts.

*Water Fall with Tropical Flower* Painted in a large canvas of 1.5 to 1.00 m with oil paint. It was painted in Bandung for two weeks during the month of November 2001, completed on November 25, 2001. This painting is currently placed at my residence in Bandung.
*Water Fall with Wild Flower* Painted in a medium sized canvas of 80 x 65 cm with oil paint. It was painted in Bandung for one week at the beginning of October 2001. This painting is currently displayed at the office of my daugter Batari H. Gany in Pondok Gede, Bekasi.
*Deep Sea Fish* Painted in a medium sized canvas of 90 x 80 cm with oil paint. It was painted in Bandung for one week at the beginning of December 2001. This painting is currently placed at the residence of my son La Rane Hafied Gany in Singapore.
*Tulip with Wind Mill* Painted in a small sized canvas of 75 x 50 cm with oil pain. It was painted in Bandung for three days at the beginning of December 2001. This painting is currently placed at the office of my daugter Batari H. Gany in Pondok Gede, Bekasi.
*World Water Forum Tulip* This painting was inspired by my visit at the Flower Festival in The Hague at the occasion of my participation at the 2nd World Water Forum in The Hague, the Netherlands, March 2000. This was painted at the small sized canvas of 60 x 50 cm -- with oil paint -- in Bandung at the third week of November 2001, and currently placed at the office of my daughter Batari in Pondok Gede Bekasi.
*Scenic Beauty of North Aceh* This painting was inspired by my visit to Aceh Province in 1999. The original landscape was developed from a digital photograph taken by myself from a hilly place faced west to the Indian Ocean. The flower and the orchid from the vicinity area added to the scenery to guild the genuine natural beauty of Aceh. The painting in a canvas of 60 x 90 cm was worked out in Bandung at the 32nd anniversary of my wedding, the 21st of December 2001. It's now displayed in my residence in Bandung.
*Backyard Orchid"* This painting was worked out in Bandung at 23rd of December 2001 for three days at a 40 x 50 cm canvas, with oil paint. The model was taken from my wife's orchid garden at the back yard of my residence in Bandung. The original painting is currently displayed at my son's residence La Rane in Singapore.
*The Frontyard Roses* This painting was worked out with oil paint in Bandung (December 29, 2001) on a canvas of 50 x 40 cm. The model was taken from the frontyard of my house in Bandung -- the orange color was replaced from its original pink color, to give a special effect. The original painting is now displayed at the office of my daughter, Batari Hafied Gany in Pondok Gede, Bekasi.
*Birth of the Universe* This painting was worked out with oil paint in Jakarta (January 1, 1986 or exactly 16 years before it’s uploaded to this website today, January 1st, 2002), on a canvas of 60 x 60 cm. The model was inspired by the theory of the creation of the universe with some imaginary modification -- just to give a special effect. The original painting is now kept on my residence in Bandung, after 15 years in CGSC office Bekasi, West Java
*Spacescape* This painting was worked out with oil paint in Bandung (December 30, 2001) on a canvas of 90 x 60 cm. The model was downloaded from Internet with some modification -- just to give a special image -- without intending to copy the actual condition of the outer-space. I use the term The "Spacescape" to replace the "Landscape". The original painting is now placed on my residence in Bandung.
The Spacescape2 This painting was worked out with oil paint in Bandung (March 17, 2002) on a canvas of 95 x 65 cm. The model was downloaded from Internet with some improvisation -- just to give a special image -- without intending to copy the actual condition of the outer-space. I use the term The “Spacescape2” for my 2nd artwork of its kind. The original painting is now placed on my brother’s residence in Arca Manik Endah Housing Complex in Bandung.
The Earthscape This painting was worked out with oil paint in Bandung (May 25, 2001) on a canvas of 95 x 65 cm. The model was downloaded from Internet with some modification -- The Blue Planet puts at forefront, side by side with the Mars Planet -- without intending to portray the actual scene & condition of the outer-space. I use the term The “Earthscape” to replace the term “Landscape”. The original painting is now placed on my daughter’s office in Pondok Gede.
Cultural Transformation, China This painting was worked out with oil paint in Bandung (June 14, 2002) on a canvas of 70 x 50 cm. I took the model by digital camera on 25th April 2002 from the wall of the Restaurant of Suqian-Hotel, Jiangtsu Province, Central China -- The original model is painted on the wall using ceramic tile arrangement in contemporary art (the obvious symbol of cultural change) with the size of about 5.00 x 3.00m. The original painting is now placed on my residence in Bandung.
